 Beautiful Love Poem ~ Madeline
An open declaration of my affection for sweet Madeline.
Bold? Quite.
Admirable? Nigh.
For my love, she dwells in the sky.
She dances from cloud to cloud and haunts my eyes.
My ethereal love,
the subject of my stride.
I seek her calming language,
which once heard, could subdue Atlantic tides.
Oh, my Madeline!
her name is spoken each time,
the wind passes through leaves.
It's spoken by songbirds in the tree's,
by the babbling brook and the flight of bee's.
Her name is a natural symphony.
Oh, my Madeline!
She is the summer breeze against my face,
and a lonely winters' saving grace.
Alas she is but the daydream, the fanciful lie
of my despondent mind.
Still she remains my love, my life, my Madeline.
